Training overview

EMIS is committed to providing quality training as it is felt this is the way in which you will get the most out of your EMIS system. EMIS offers an array of training options including on-site training, 'hands-on' training courses and the provision of local training facilities.

On-site training

On-site training is available to any member of staff on any aspect of the EMIS EMR system as well as Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel - you decide what training you want and to whom. This time can be used as a refresher of key areas or to help improve the quality of data recording and audit.

Hands-on training courses

This section deals the range of 'hands-on' training courses available. Alternatively a variety of training modules can be combined, tailored to meet your local requirements.

Local training facilities

These are additional services that are available to Health Authorities. This may include assistance in the development and implementation of standardised formularies, templates, protocols and audits. Alternatively may include a series of Training Needs Analysis resulting in a training programme consisting of a combination of the two types of training.

Locum training programme

Working with Locum physician agencies and principal Physicians, a training programme has been devised which wil lensure delegates have foundation knowledge of using the EMIS EMR system during a consultation.
