Drugs

Doctors who use EMIS, will prescribe electronically using the EMR system. They will select the product they wish to prescribe and print out a prescription.

The Drug database team at EMIS, comprising of Pharmacists and Pharmacy technicians, are dedicated to keeping the EMIS system up to date with product changes in the pharmaceutical market.

To ensure that all products, branded and generic, can be prescribed, we would like to invite all pharmaceutical companies to contact the Drug database team with information regarding their new products. Along with new, we would also like to know about discontinued products, and products which have had a change to their name.

If you are an EMIS customer and would like to request for EMIS to add a drug which is not currently available, please visit the Common Room and complete the drug request form. Click Here to access the Commonroom.

If you are from a pharmaceutical company and have information on a new product, please complete the form below. This is the best way to ensure that your product is available for the doctor to prescribe.
