A fully integrated scheduling module allows your clinic to easily manage patient appointments from within your EMR system.

Using the mouse or keyboard, clinic users can easily and quickly navigate between today’s and future scheduling slots, with a scheduling wizard that allows sessions to be created months in advance.

Integrated scheduling allows users to enter a patient’s EMR directly from the scheduling screen for fast access to patient details.

EMIS scheduling features also include:

• Patient tracking – patient arrivals can be tracked by reception and viewed in real time by the physician
• Pre-defined time release slots – slots can be set up with restricted availability until a specified time or date. For example, slots reserved for urgent appointments, only available on that day
• Privacy mode – clinics can choose to hide the names of patients on the scheduling screen for privacy. In privacy mode, patients are identified by their computer number
• EMIS Access – patients can schedule their own appointments via the internet.

Further scheduling options include connection to an electronic display screen, which can automatically call the next patient and prompt them to go from the waiting room to an exam room, as well as display seasonal welcome messages or other health promotion information.
